Experience Counts Now More Than Ever.
I grew up in Los Altos on the Peninsula back when there were still orchards and life was generally slower. I felt this area would be a perfect place to raise my children with both the quality environment and opportunities Los Altos had once afforded our middle-class family.
I'm often asked, “How long I’ve lived in El Dorado County?” and the simple answer is since June of 1997. The not-so-simple answer evokes fond memories of four summers (1972-1976) when, as a youngster, I helped my father build spec homes in the Sly Park Area of Pollock Pines. My father’s upbringing on a farm instilled a remarkable work ethic in him and as a high school English teacher, he chose to spend his summers challenging the two of us, creating not only homes but a sense of self-worth and an affinity with nature. In 1988, I purchased 40 acres with a cabin in Georgetown. I renovated the cabin and built a new access road with a bridge, then later selling in 2000. The final move to Cameron Park in 1997 was more of a return for me.
Although I do sell a great deal of Real Estate, it’s not important to me to have the most clients – just the best served! It might come as a surprise, but one of the most valuable benefits to me is the variety of people I become involved with and how learning about their experiences and life enriches mine. I appreciate people!
